Humanity Comes First. Help to Provide for the Basic Needs of the Most Vulnerable Refugees!

We are currently facing a special situation: many migrants from different countries are crossing the Lithuanian border. Did you know that almost a third of migrants arriving in Lithuania are women and about a quarter are minors? There are also many vulnerable people among them: women with children, pregnant women, unaccompanied minors, and people with disabilities who need our help.

9 NGOs – Lithuanian Red Cross, Lithuanian Caritas, Maltesers, “Food Bank”, Lithuanian Scouting, Artscape, Save the Children, Diversity Development Group, Refugee Council – and almost 300 volunteers have joined forces to help the state and to take care of the basic needs of these people.

Do not forget what unites us and the refugees – we are all human!

 

Therefore, those who wish to contribute to the management of the irregular migration situation can do so in the following ways:

1. By donating money to help with the basic needs of vulnerable people came to Lithuania.

2. By donating items needed by migrants:
